The Camp Transfiguration program is focused around the teaching of the Orthodox Christian Church. A typical day at camp begins with wake-up at 7:00 am. After cleaning the cabin and getting ready, campers head to breakfast at 8 am. After breakfast, we begin our day by celebrating daily Matins together as a community. After Matins, campers are divided by cabin and attend the Morning Program which includes a Christian Education lesson and an activity such as Ask Abouna, chanting, ecology center, and more.
After morning program, campers have a short break in their cabins to get ready for the afternoon activities which begin right after lunch. the Afternoon program includes sports, waterfront activities, carpentry, rock climbing, archery, riflery, and more. After a fun-filled afternoon, campers return to their cabins to wash up before dinner. After dinner, the camp community comes together again for daily Vespers.
At the conclusion of Vespers, campers and staff go to Evening Program. Each night there is a different program such as a hafli, scavenger hunt, serenade night, campfire, or some activity that the whole camp participates in together.
